Memoir Writing Workshop
Crafting Your Second-Generation Stories
Interested in beginning to write your life story? This interactive two-session workshop series will enable participants to tap into their lived experience as adult children of Holocaust survivors (2Gs) through the process of writing. Attendees will explore the gifts and challenges of growing up with survivor parents amongst a community who shares this same unique history. All Holocaust descendants will find value in participating – whether they are already a writer, journal regularly or have only dreamt about putting pen to paper.
Rita Benn and Ruth Wade have offered this popular workshop to various 2G groups around the country. They are co-editors and contributors to the anthology The Ones Who Remember; Second-Generation Voices of the Holocaust. For inspiration it is recommended that participants read their free e-book which will be provided upon registration.
