Children of Holocaust Survivors:
Growing Through Change

Building resilience and connection
in an increasingly uncertain time

Facilitated by Irit Felsen, PhD

Children of Holocaust Survivors carry a legacy that continues to shape how we understand ourselves, our families, and the ways we move through life as we age.  This stage of life naturally brings opportunities to reexamine our identities, priorities, and sense of purpose. As we enter a new phase of life, we might want to draw on the strengths honed by our life experiences and boost our resilience to face current challenges.

Some of us might be caring for family members who can feel emotionally complicated. We may be reflecting on our roles as relationships with siblings, partners, and longtime friends evolve.

Our relationships with adult children and grandchildren are also evolving as they establish their own families and deepen their connections to history, Judaism, and Israel. Today’s heightened tension around identity can feel especially significant and emotionally intricate for 2Gs.

This workshop provides a welcoming and supportive space to explore these experiences together.

Join fellow 2Gs and Dr. Irit Felsen, an internationally recognized expert on trauma, aging, and intergenerational resilience, for a day of reflection, learning, and connection. Through guided discussions and practical tools, participants will:

  • Explore the unique ways life transitions influence 2Gs
  • Reflect on changing family dynamics
  • Strengthen emotional foundation and coping skills
  • Reconnect with purpose, clarity, and resilience
  • Build community with others who share this legacy

We invite you to join us for a meaningful and restorative day with others who truly understand the 2G experience.
