The residents at The Tradition of the Palm Beaches on the MorseLife Health System campus in West Palm Beach were recently given a wonderful “taste” of Israeli music and culture, courtesy of teenagers who are part of the Tzofim (Israeli Boy and Girl Scouts) Friendship Caravan.

Ten teens from Israel, traveling throughout North America as part of the Tzofim Friendship Caravan, spent the afternoon entertaining and speaking with seniors who are residents of the independent and assisted living residence, The Tradition of the Palm Beaches.

Through music and dance, the youth gave the residents a look at the history and culture of Israel, its people and cultures and the hopes and aspirations of Israeli – young and old alike.

The Tzofim Friendship Caravan has been sending selected young Israeli Scouts to North America for over 40 years.  The event is one of many entertaining, informative and life-affirming programs available to residents of The Tradition of the Palm Beaches.  For more information, call (561) 687-3005.
