Avi Hoffman to Perform at MorseLife in Celebration of Chanukah, MorseLife The Levin Palace, The Tradition at MorseLife, Jewish Celebration, Senior Independent Living

MorseLife will be celebrating the first night of Chanukah on Dec.12 with a headliner performance starring actor-director, Avi Hoffman. Born in the Bronx, NY, and the son of two holocaust survivors, Avi was taught at an early age to appreciate the beauty and depth of the Jewish culture, literature, music and tradition. Avi began performing at the tender age of 4, when his mother, a Yiddish expert, tailored a musical for him entitled “Aleph Avremel.” For the next 50 years, Avi has continued to entertain crowds in theaters in New York and Florida with numerous shows including his well-known acts “Too Jewish” and “Too Jewish Two,” which examine Hoffman’s Jewish roots and his love of Yiddish culture. Hoffman also has been a regular on a number of prime-time television shows including NBC’s “Law and Order,” Starz Network series’ “Magic City” and on A&E’s “The Glades.” Hoffman is one of many headliner entertainers that will be featured at MorseLife this season.
