1983

The Joseph L. Morse Geriatric Center officially opens to the public with 120 beds.

1984

The Nearly New Shop opens with proceeds benefiting residents of Morse Geriatric Center.

1987

The Morse-Evans Home Health Care Agency is established to serve seniors still living in their homes.

1989

The Resnick Pavilion opens, adding an additional 160 beds.

1990

The Morse Adult Day Center, located on the campus of the Alex & Esther Gruber Jewish Community Center opened.

1999

The Lola & Saul Kramer Senior Services Agency, Inc. was formed to provide community based programs and services for the elderly of Palm Beach County.

2004

The MorseLife Health System campus is named the Marilyn & Stanley M. Katz Seniors Campus in honor of their philanthropic support. The Tradition of the Palm Beaches opens as a 144 unit independent and assisted living residence and reaches 100% capacity.

2008

MorseLife  Health System celebrates 25 years of enhancing the lives of seniors.  Morse Health Center (aka Morse Geriatric Center) receives the Gold Seal Award from the Governor’s Panel on Excellence in Long-Term Care.

2009

MorseLife Health System establishes MorseLife Home Care, a Medicare skilled home health care agency, and becomes the Kosher Adult Congregate Meal Site in West Palm Beach.

2010

The Campaign to Transform MorseLife begins, raising funds for a new 120-bed short-term rehabilitation center; nursing home renovation; and a 80-unit assisted-living memory impairment residence.

2011

MorseLife Health System establishes Neighbor2Neighbor and an Aphasia Therapy program.  Neighbor2Neighbor provides a full range of programs and services to enable older adults to continue to live on their own with greater wellness, socialization, safety and independence.  The Aphasia Therapy program helps patients with stroke or traumatic brain injury improve communications skills, and offers nursing visits, counseling and support services.

2013

MorseLife Health System launches Palm Beach PACE (Program for All Inclusive Care for the Elderly), a managed care program for seniors at risk of nursing home placement.  The PACE program provides transportation, medical and nursing care, rehabilitation services, adult day care, prescriptions, and home care, to enable seniors to remain at home.

2014

MorseLife Health System innovates short term care for seniors by opening the state-of-the-art Sondra and David Mack Pavilion for Short Term Rehabilitation Center on its 37-acre campus, a model of rehabilitation excellence, meeting  increased demand among patients with cardiological, neurological, and orthopedic illnesses and injuries.

2015

MorseLife Health System blazes a new trail by opening a Memory Care Assisted Living residence for seniors with memory impairment.  This residence includes a 52-apartment assisted living residence and 30 new long-term care beds on a separate floor.  With a host of services and amenities, this residence is a model for caring for seniors with moderate to advanced memory impairment.  In November, MorseLife Health System broke ground and started construction on The Stephen and Petra Levin Tower at MorseLife, a 300,000 square foot, ten story luxury independent living residence with 182 one and two bedroom apartments and full service amenities to open in 2017.

2016

MorseLife Health System elevates luxury independent living with the construction milestone for the Stephen and Petra Levin Tower at MorseLife, the most luxurious senior residence in South Florida, opening Fall 2017.   MorseLife Health System launches its second site for Palm Beach PACE (Program of All Inclusive Care for the Elderly) at Temple Sinai in Delray Beach, Florida.  Palm Beach PACE is the fastest growing program of its type in the State of Florida.
